Hirwal Education Trust is a pioneer in the field of global education in rural region, Mahad. We initiated this endeavor almost 15 years ago in the historic city of Mahad, which is rich in cultural heritage and is the Karmabhoomi of Bharat Ratna Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar. We believe in offering the best possible education to our potential students at reasonable fees with a state of the art campus. The core principle of Trust is, honesty, integrity, transparency and team work in education. We are proud to say that the Institute has a highly qualified and dedicated staff who has remain mostly unchanged over the years. Our aim is the all-around development of students to equip them with academic, extra-curricular and life skills to make them the fine Global Citizens as well as to enable them to become the agents of a rapidly progressing India and the world.
The ultimate aim of the trust is to provide best education campus with a bouquet of varied courses beneficial to all the students of rural area, so that they will feel confident and uninhibited in any part of the world.

Greetings to all of you
The world of 21st century that we live in has become smaller and connected due to rapid advances in transport, communication and information technology. It is filled with competition, prospects and obstacles. Modern education, curriculum development and teaching methodology must keep pace with the demand for Global Environment. I firmly believe that education being the powerful tool helps to bring desirable changes in one’s personality and prepare young minds for imbibing knowledge, skills and power and equip them to face the practical world. College education forms the foundation for building future citizens of the country.
Realizing this very need Hirwal education trust’s College of Science(Computer Science and Information technology) was instituted to provide premium education to residence of Mahad and surrounding rural area by Great visionary and Social worker Shri. Kishor Dharia and Mrs. Sonali Dharia. Since its inception the college has remained committed to quality in education. “Strive for Excellence in education” is the Moto of the institution. It is leading college in Mahad in Raigad district accredited by NAAC with B grade. This is an institution with amicable, academic and cultural and pro social climate where students are nurtured to become constructive, positive and integrated human beings.
The teaching and non-teaching staff act as pillars in strengthening the overall functioning of the college and have always worked hard towards achieving Vision and Mission of the institution.
I congratulate HIRWAL Education Trust for inculcating values, new skill development and encouraging all forms of activities, academic, sports, extracurricular which contribute to the overall growth of the students. I am particularly pleased that our students participate in NSS, DLLE activities and work for social cause. I am glad to share with you here that our students have done remarkable relief work during recent flood in Mahad area and during Covid 19 lockdown

Hirwal Education Trust’s College of Science(Computer Science and Information Technology) (CSCSIT) established with an objective of satisfying the educational needs of rural area’s students.
We are fortunate to have Junior college, Degree College & Night Degree College under one roof.
We are an evolving Institution that believes in catering to the various emerging needs of the students. We have five degree courses at the Undergraduate level in Science, Commerce and Management in affiliation with University of Mumbai. The institution organizes the co-curricular, extracurricular and extension activities through the NSS Unit and DLLE. We focus on renovating students into achievers and leaders, faculty into dedicated researchers and motivators; the college provides opportunities for holistic development. Our students are mentored to become lifelong learners who will not only make a career but also become responsible citizens contributing to the growth and improvement of our society. We have always been at the forefront of change.
I truly believe that quality education is an enabling process of growth and self-discovery. It is not just a matter of acquiring knowledge but learning life skills to lead a way of life, suffused with strong values. With every success saga; academics, sports or community work, our fetish for excellence grows by the day! At the same time, we make all efforts to remain sensitive to the needs of the marginalized. While each student success is an accomplishment for us, we also prepare them to take each stumbling block they face, as a learning ground for a more confident and a sure-footed future.
I am confident that CCSIT shall take a leading role in this transformation and model the university and the college to even greater heights in the future.
