Information Technology – Admission

College of Science(Computer Science & Information Technology) (Mahad, Dist. Raigad)  offers 3 years B. Sc. (IT) degree from Mumbai University.

Job opportunities exist in internet / web development, network/communication technology, programming, video gaming, software development, computer technician or cyber security consultancy.

ELIGIBILITY

Candidate for being eligible for admission to the three years integrated course leading to the degree of B.Sc. (CS) must have passed Higher Secondary School Certification Examination (Std. XII) in Science Stream conducted by the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education with Mathematics and Statistics as one of the subject or its equivalent. The minimum required aggregate marks in HSC Exam in Science Stream.

OR

The Candidates who have passed Diploma in Computer Engineering/ Computer Science/ Computer Technology/ Electrical, Electronics and Allied Branches, civil and allied branches of Engineering are eligible for admission to the first year of the B.Sc. (IT) degree course. However the diploma should be recognized by the Technical Board of Education or any other recognized government body. Minimum marks required is 45% aggregate for open category and 40% aggregate for reserved category candidates in HSC Exam.

And

Students with Post H.S.C-Diploma in Computer Engineering / Computer Science/ Computer Technology will be eligible for direct admission to the second year of B.Sc. (IT). However the diploma should be recognized by the Technical Board of Education or any other recognized government body. No common entrance test will be conducted. Admission will be made on the basis of merit. The course consists of 29 theory papers and one project work for 200 marks in the sixth semester.

8. *Three recent Passport Size Photographs.
