Training and Placement Cell
A Training and Placement Cell’s (TPC) function in an educational institution has become essential in today’s competitive world for bridging the gap between academia and industry. At HET’s College of Science (Computer Science and Information Technology) Mahad, recognize the importance of our students with the exposure and skills they need to succeed in the workplace, in addition to the academic brilliance that comes with being top students.
Despite not offering on-campus placements, our college is committed to giving our graduate students the tools they need to succeed in the workplace by connecting them with important industry contacts and providing them with necessary skills.
Objectives of Training and Placement Cell
- To provide personalized counseling to students regarding career choices, job opportunities, and higher education options.
- To conduct workshops, seminars, and training sessions to enhance students’ technical, soft, and employability skills.
- To facilitate interactions between students and industry professionals through guest lectures, industrial visits, and networking events.
- To promote and assist students who want to start their own businesses by giving them access to networking opportunities, mentoring, and incubation spaces.
- To take advantage of alumni networks to establish mentorship programs and career guidance for current students.
Function of Training and Placement Cell
- Plan resume building, interview, communication, and personality development sessions.
- Give students one-on-one counseling sessions to better understand their professional goals and provide appropriate guidance.
- Provide students with opportunities for suitable internships across multiple businesses so they can obtain real-world experience.
- To inform students about the latest industry trends and requirements, host webinars and seminars featuring professionals in the field.
- Plan networking gatherings include alumni gatherings, industry conclaves, and industry-academic seminars.
